DaVinci Resolve to Logic Pro

Follow these steps to export your project out of DaVinci Resolve and import it into Logic Pro in a way that you get all your audio tracks from Resolve into separate tracks (or stems) into Logic.

  1. put audio on separate tracks in Resolve in the same way you want them in Logic

  1. choose the deliver tab

  2. use these settings and render:

  1. add to render cue

  2. render all

  3. open Logic Pro

  4. after creating any type of track (required by Logic), drag the movie file rendered in Resolve under the blank track:

  1. answer all the alerts (usually with the suggested blue button) making sure you checkmark "on separate tracks" when asked about the audio:

  1. It should look something like this with all audio on separate tracks:

  1. When you have added effects you want to the audio, you can go to File > Movie > Export audio to Movie ...

  2. Do *not* enable the audio tracks in the popup (it is referencing the tracks you initially imported from the video)

  1. Now you can upload the video to YouTube!
