Expectations

• You are a composer-performer.

• No one but you needs to be able to understand and work what you create in Max.

You Must Include the Following

• play a sound file

• play back something you record during the performance

• an abstraction

• objects you must include:

  • at least one of the following objects = random, drunk, urn-jb, urn

  • line~

  • key

  • keyup

  • play~ or groove~

  • record~

  • saw~ or cycle~ or tri~

What to Perform During Class

• minimum of a 1 minute performance following a rough draft score (written down or out in some fashion) on your laptop or the studio computer and speakers
